Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus met with representatives of the Jamaat-e-Islami on Monday.
He is scheduled to also meet the National Citizen Party (NCP) and the BNP later on.
The Jamaat delegation was led by Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher.
Advisers Khalilur Rahman and Adilur Rahman were also present at the meeting.
The meeting with Jamaat began at his official Jamuna residence at 4:30pm.
Meeting sources said Jamaat reaffirmed its commitment to upholding unity and assured the CA that the party stood beside it.
Although no official agenda of the meeting has been provided, it has been reported that the focus will be on national elections, reforms and the July Charter.
Analysts have also speculated that a possible ban on the Jatiyo Party might be touched upon, alongside the situation in Chittagong University.
