A delegation from the National Citizen Party (NCP) has arrived in Japan on an official visit aimed at strengthening ties with the Bangladeshi expatriate community and engaging in diplomatic discussions.
The NCP delegation, which includes Chief Organiser (Northern Region) Sarjis Alam, Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari, and Joint Chief Coordinator Mahabub Alam, landed at Narita International Airport at 6:30am (local time) on Friday.
Bangladeshi expatriates in Japan welcomed them with flowers upon their arrival.
On Thursday afternoon, the delegation departed from Dhaka at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
During their visit, they are scheduled to attend several events with Bangladeshi expatriates and NCP supporters in Tokyo and Osaka.
The delegation is also scheduled to meet with the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Japan. Discussions are expected to centre around the challenges and opportunities facing the expatriate community.
