Attorney General Asaduzzaman on Saturday said the attack on Nur is not an isolated incident, but part of a deep conspiracy.
"Jatiya Party had betrayed the people of the nation from 1982 to 1990. They also supported the Awami League during the July mass uprising. And now, they have unveiled their old history. Therefore, the demand to ban the party will be legally scrutinised before any action is taken," he told reporters after inaugurating the regional office of the National University in Jhenaidah.
