Police submitted a charge sheet against eight people in connection with the murder of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin in Gazipur on Monday.
During the investigation police found involvement of Ketu Mizan, his wife Golapi and six others in the murder, said Deputy Commissioner (Crime) Rabiul Islam at a press briefing.
The other accused are AL-Amin, Shahjalal, Foysal Hasan, Sumon alias Sabbir, Arman and Shahidul.
A mobile phone of Tuhin was also recovered, Rabiul said.
Police arrested all of them after examining CCTV footage and with the help of technology.
On 7 August, Tuhin (38), a staff reporter of Mymensingh-based Dainik Protidiner Kagoj, was killed in Chandana Intersection of Gazipur city.
A case was filed with Basan Police Station on 8 August.
