The recent RAB's intensive search at the flight BG-373 reminds bend your finger if the butter doesn't come out straight. A mother faked a bomb threat on a Biman flight to stop her married son from flying to Kathmandu with his girlfriend.
How did a domestic event become an emergency concern nationwide? Let's take a look at what RAB's recent investigation revealed.
The story behind the story
A person named Emon was travelling to Nepal on the Biman Bangladesh flight BG-373 with his extramarital partner. The flight was scheduled to depart from Dhaka to Kathmandu on Friday (11 July). When Emon's mother and wife learned about this, they tried to stop him, but they were unsuccessful.
Then another friend of Emon named Imran advised them that if they called air traffic control and reported a bomb on the plane, the journey could be suspended. Accordingly, Emon's mother called air traffic control and reported the bomb threat.
Bangladesh Biman's Dhaka-Kathmandu flight BG-373 was temporarily suspended on Friday due to a bomb threat. Law enforcement received this information on an unknown phone call. Later, a security search was conducted on the plane. After the search, no bomb was found. The flight left Dhaka when the situation was completely under control. There were 142 passengers and 7 crew on board.
But this bizarre incident is nothing new. Hundreds of such incidents can be found just by browsing the internet. Some are funny, some are chilling. But ultimately, it never fails to entertain.
A casual chore
On August 07, 2023, news by the New York Post went viral, which stated, "Tiffany Gomas, a Dallas resident, was kicked off the plane following her bizarre outburst, which led to hours of delays for other passengers." She even makes allegations of racism against the crew members.
The Ghost Flight
One of aviation's most chilling legends is the story of the Ghost of Flight 401. On December 29, 1972, Eastern Airlines Flight 401 crashed in the Florida Everglades after a series of mechanical and human errors while attempting a routine landing approach to Miami. The incident claimed that the attendants saw a dead Captain Loft's spirit in the cockpit, sometimes seen inspecting equipment. His figure would occasionally appear in the galley, reportedly seen by those who had known him personally. The apparitions were more than just quick glimpses—crew members described detailed encounters, hearing voices and feeling sudden chills.
No more fresh air on the flight
Fligh-Delayed.com published a series of obscene flight incidents on April 24, 2020, and one of them featured one of the passengers in need of 'fresh air' opening the emergency exit door. She was not happy with the quality of air inside the aircraft of an Xiamen Air flight. She was sitting in the emergency exit row and thought it could be a good idea to open the emergency exit door. There are thousands left across the internet.
However, the recent flight BG-373 incident brings some spice up. It demonstrates that mankind knows no boundary, and they may go further in terms of wedlock, funny enough.
But this is indeed entertaining to watch over such hilarities on a mobile screen.
