A Biman Bangladesh Airlines 787 Dreamliner made an emergency landing at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram shortly after takeoff due to a landing gear issue.

The plane returned safely to the tarmac around 8:55am, according to a witness.
The flight, BG 148, arriving from Dubai was forced to return to Shah Amanat International Airport shortly after departing for Dhaka with 287 passengers onboard, reports UNB.
It initially landed safely in Chattogram at 7:15am. It took off again for Dhaka at 8:37am but returned and landed safely at 8:58am following the fault.
The aircraft is currently stationed at Bay No-8, and all passengers are reported to be safe.
Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, Public Relations Officer at Shah Amanat International Airport, said the airline arranged for all affected passengers to be transferred to another flight, BG-122, which departed for Dhaka at 10:50 am.
