The leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami on Saturday said the attackers have no way to escape justice, as by making Nurul Haque Nur bleed, all the July warriors have been made to bleed.
They made the remark before starting a rally, organised at the northern gate of Baitul Mukarram by Jamaat leaders and activists from Dhaka South, protesting the attack on the president of Ganadhikar Parishad.
While addressing the rally, Maulana Abdul Halim said, "Nurul Haque Nur is a vocal voice against fascism." In the video, it is seen that the police, army, and intelligence personnel, who disguised themselves, attacked Nur.

"In the presence of police and army personnel, such a disgraceful incident would occur on a national leader; we demand a fair trial for this."
Meanwhile, Assistant Secretary General Hamidur Rahman Azad said, "Nurul Haque Nur was targeted for the attack. This is a well-planned incident. The aim is to rehabilitate fascism in Bangladesh."
Regarding the attackers, he said, "We have received some information about those who led this."
Hinting at the government, Hamidur Rahman Azad said, "We are ready for the election. We saw your preparations yesterday. You are preparing to rehabilitate the allies of fascism. Your administration has played a biased role.
"Your fascist-affiliated officers, in their zeal, attacked Nur and his leaders, not only losing their impartiality but also making the government controversial. They have brought it into question before the nation."
He also added that the attackers must be brought under the law quickly after investigating the video footage. This is the demand of today's public gathering.
In his speech, Deputy Amir of Jamaat's Dhaka South Helal Uddin said, "We have no words to condemn the disgraceful incident that occurred yesterday. A national leader has been tortured in this way and pushed to the brink of death."
He further said, "he is now at the threshold of life and death. Nur was right in front of his office. If there were any suspicions, the law enforcement agencies could have arrested him."
The pre-rally gathering was chaired by the Deputy Amir of South, Helal Uddin, where the party's Assistant Secretary General, Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim, and others delivered speeches.
