Advisor to the BNP Chairperson and a member of the BNP's Central Foreign Affairs team Mohammad Enamul Haque Chowdhury on Thursday said the results of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election are unlikely to have any impact on the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
"The results of the DUCSU elections are unlikely to have any impact on the upcoming national parliamentary polls as the context and circumstances of the two elections are entirely different," he said as the chief guest while addressing a rally organised by the Upazila and municipal BNP units and affiliated organisations in Sylhet's South Beanibazar.
He also said that the BNP is the country's most popular and largest political party. And the party is moving forward with the upcoming national elections in view. Its main goal is to restore democracy and establish the people's right to vote.
Sylhet District BNP Vice President Nozmul Hossain Putul presided over the event, while Child Affairs Secretary Siddiq Ahmed was the moderator.

Abdul Hafiz and Masuk Ahmed; former Publicity Secretary Kamal Hossain; Upazila Workers' Party General Secretary Selim Ahmed; Upazila JASAS Convenor Mujibur Rahman; Member Secretary Abdul Halim Rana; former Mullapur Union BNP President Jabedul Haque Dudu; General Secretary of Charkhai Union BNP Saek Ahmed; former Alinagar Union BNP President Shamim Ahmed; former General Secretary of Lauta Union BNP Abdul Jabbar; and former Kurar Bazar Union BNP President Maynul Haque, were also present at the event.
