Family members of those martyred and injured in the July uprising appeared on stage at the Jamaat rally on Saturday.
Their presence underscored one of the party's key demands: justice and rehabilitation for the victims and their families.
Abu Sayed's brothers Abul Hossain and Ramzan Ali, Golam Nafiz's father Golam Rahman, and Shahriar Khan Anas's father Shahriar Khan Palash among others were on the stage at Suhrawardy Udyan.
Jamaat-e-Islami senior leader ATM Azharul Islam was also present on the stage.
He was acquitted in an appeal after being sentenced to death by the International Crimes Tribunal for crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.
He is the first individual to be acquitted in such a case upon review after the tribunal was formed.
Jamaat-e-Islami's central Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer, who was moderating the event, offered condolences to all grieving families.
