BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed on Monday said the BNP had not yet been invited to the July Declaration programme.
"We have read in the newspapers that the liberation war affairs ministry is going to organise a programme for the July Declaration, and Chief Adviser Mohammad Yunus will be present there. But we have not received any invitation yet. So, we cannot say anything," Salahuddin told reporters at the party office.
The July Declaration will be presented before the nation at 5:00pm on Tuesday.
The declaration will be unveiled at a public gathering at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
The chief adviser is expected to be present on the occasion.
"The interim government has finalised the draft of the July Declaration. The July Declaration will be presented before the nation at 5:00pm on Tuesday (August 5)," a handout said on Sunday.
