The Election Commission finalised its action plan as it prepares to stage the 13th Parliamentary Election by mid-February at a high-powered meeting at its office in Agargaon.
The meeting was attended by Election Commissioner Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah, other commissioners and senior secretariat officials.
Commissioner Sanaullah reiterated the EC's commitment to ensuring a free, fair, and constitutionally guided election.
"We are fully prepared for a fair, beautiful and acceptable election," he said.
Earlier on August 18, EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed mentioned that the draft roadmap had been prepared and would be submitted to the commission for final approval before being made public.
The roadmap is expected to provide a detailed timeline and operational guidelines that will ensure the next national election is held smoothly and transparently.
