Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP), arrived in Malaysia on Friday.
The leaders and activists of the NCP Diaspora Alliance, Malaysia, greeted him with a bouquet at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
According to NCP sources, during this visit, Nahid Islam will participate in several programs aimed at addressing the issues of Bangladeshi expatriates, advancing their rights, and strengthening organisational activities.
Nahid began his visit by performing the Maghrib prayer at the Putrajaya Grand Mosque.
Meanwhile, the NCP Diaspora Alliance, Malaysia, has issued a special call urging all expatriates to actively participate in the programs of Nahid's visit.
NCP's Joint Secretary Alauddin Mohammad is accompanying him on the trip.
