Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus returned home on Wednesday night, concluding his three-day state visit to Malaysia.
A commercial flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the chief adviser and his entourage, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:05pm, said Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
The three-day tour began on August 11. During the visit, Bangladesh and Malaysia signed five MoUs and exchanged three notes.
During his tour, Yunus held bilateral talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar bin Ibrahim on Tuesday.
Yunus received an honorary doctorate from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the national university of Malaysia and delivered a commemorative lecture on Wednesday morning.
