Parents of students that were injured after a Bangladesh Air Force aircraft crashed into the Milestone School and College on July 21 placed an eight-point demand, including the release of CCTV footage and called for an end to commercial coaching activities.
The demands were raised after a human chain was formed by guardians near the school on Tuesday.
Guardians demanded access to the CCTV footage from the day of the crash and called for an end to commercial coaching activities at educational institutions.
They also sought Tk 2 crore in compensation from the school authorities for each child who lost their life in the tragedy and Tk 1 crore for each child injured.
They further demanded Tk 5 crore in compensation from the government for each of the deceased, and Tk 1 core for each of the injured.
Guardians also said Air force training activities should be conducted in sparsely populated areas.
Additionally, they demanded the removal of Milestone School's headmistress, who they said was the main person behind the coaching business within 72 hours.
