The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and the National Citizen Party are set to hold separate mass rallies in Dhaka on Sunday, drawing activists from across the country in a significant show of political strength.
Extensive preparations have been made by both organisations, with organisers expecting hundreds of thousands to join the gatherings.
The Chhatra Dal rally will commence at 2:30pm at Shahbagh, while the NCP rally is scheduled for 4:00pm at the Central Shaheed Minar.
During its rally, NCP will announce its "New Bangladesh Manifesto".
Both Chhatra Dal and the NCP have issued advance apologies for any inconvenience caused by the events.
In light of potential traffic disruptions, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has advised the public to avoid the Shahbagh area.
The DMP has also recommended that candidates of HSC, equivalent, and BCS exams budget for ample time to reach their exam centres.
