The interim government has expressed regret over the allegations of some students being beaten up by army personnel on crowd control duty at the Milestone School and College premises following the aircraft crash incident on Monday.
In a statement published on the verified page of Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, he said the army authorities would be informed to take action.
The statement, centring Law Adviser Asif Nazrul and Education Adviser CR Abrar's visit to the school premises, also mentioned that students had been informed that the Bangladesh Air Force would be instructed to avoid training flights over densely populated areas in the future.
According to the statement, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul told journalists that an information centre has been established at Milestone School that contains information about the deceased, the injured and the missing persons.
"The data is being updated regularly from this centre," said the law adviser.
The statement also reads that the interim government has considered all six demands made by students of Milestone School and College to be logical.
