A five-member delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami met with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka on Saturday.
Dar landed in Bangladesh earlier on the same day.
At the meeting, they discussed the situation in Bangladesh and the development and progress of both countries.
They also expressed hope that the two countries would work towards bilateral development and progress in the future.
Dar was accompanied by the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh Imran Haider.
The Jamaat delegation included the organisation's Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Md Taher and Secretary General Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar alongside others.
Dar is scheduled to visit Ameer-e-Jamaat Shafiqur Rahman at his residence on Sunday.
