Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has announced that the July Proclamation will be unveiled to the nation at 5pm on Tuesday.
"The interim government has finalised the draft of the July Proclamation. On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 5 PM, the July Proclamation will be presented to the nation in the presence of all parties involved in the mass uprising. Further details will be announced shortly," he wrote in his verified Facebook profile.
Earlier, Mahfuz Alam, the government's information and broadcasting adviser, had also posted on his verified Facebook page that the July Proclamation would be published by August 5.
In his post, Mahfuz Alam wrote, "The July Proclamation is now a reality. It will be announced by August 5. Thanks to everyone for keeping the proclamation issue alive in the public aspiration, which helped to pave the way for its materialisation."
Since last year's July mass uprising, the July Proclamation has been one of the most fretted about topics in the political sphere, especially within parties and organisations involved in the anti-fascist movement and the mass uprising.
Ahead of the anniversary of the uprising, the interim government recently sent the final draft of the July Proclamation to various parties, including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and the National Citizens' Party (NCP).
The National Consensus Commission (NCC) has held several rounds of meetings and exchanged opinions with political parties regarding its formulation.
Details of the event will be announced soon, according to a statement issued by the Chief Adviser's press wing.
