Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus met with a delegation of the National Citizen Party (NCP) on Sunday met with at his official residence to discuss the country's current political situation and the upcoming national polls, scheduled for February.
The meeting began around 6:30pm as a part of a series of dialogue with political parties ahead of the election, and ended around 7:00pm.
The NCP delegation included Hasnat Abdullah, NCP chief coordinator of Southern Region, Ariful Islam Adib, NCP senior joint convener, Tasnim Jara, NCP senior joint member secretary, and Abdul Hannan Masud, NCP senior joint chief coordinator.
Earlier in the day, the chief adviser held a meeting with the Jamaat-e-Islami.
A meeting with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is also scheduled to take place later.
