Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman on Monday paid a courtesy call on the Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna and President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban.
During the meetings, the army chief shared his experiences and key points of discussion from various meetings held during his recent visit to China, reads an ISPR press release.
In addition, there was an in-depth exchange of views on the overall law and order situation in the country and the army's role in improving it.
Waker-Uz-Zaman assured that the army would continue to extend full cooperation to improve the law and order situation and ensure the safety of the people, the release added.
He also briefed the president and the chief adviser on the ongoing internal development activities of the army and its future plans.
